PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

From both her college work and post-graduate career, Ms. Snipes brings a strong architectural background to B&D. She was awarded “Outstanding Designer” for her graduating class by UNC-Greensboro's Department of Interior Architecture faculty. She also received a Merit Award for “spiral bench” design in Inform magazine's 2007 Inform Awards design contest; furthermore, her design was chosen for the first Urban Studio design/build project at UNC-Greensboro in a partnership with the City of Greensboro, through which she joined 20 other students in building a new home from the ground up for an elderly couple whose home had been condemned.

Prior to coming to B&D, Ms. Snipes worked independently as a project coordinator and as a free-lance designer.
