PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Mr. Brinson comes to B&D with several years of experience in real estate development management and asset management. He has directed multiple residential and commercial development projects ranging in scope from the renovation of historic single family homes to the creation of major subdivisions. Prior to joining B&D, Mr. Brinson served as a development manager for IBG Partners, LLC of Washington, DC; in this position, he oversaw development and asset management activities for an $80 million portfolio of properties and the on-time, on-budget delivery of four major development projects in four separate states.

Mr. Brinson possesses an MA in Urban and Regional Planning with a concentration in Community Revitalization from Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as a BA in Biology from the University of Richmond. In addition, he is an active member of both the Urban Land Institute and the U.S. Green Building Council.
